Dr. Jorge Miranda’s path to becoming a vascular surgeon reflects years of dedicated training and achievement. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Texas at El Paso before receiving his Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso. He then advanced his expertise through specialized residency and fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine, preparing him to care for patients with complex cardiovascular and vascular conditions.

For Dr. Miranda, exceptional medicine goes beyond treating a condition—it means caring for the person who will live with the decisions made today for years to come. He believes in building lasting relationships with his patients, listening carefully, and being
transparent about every option along the way. By combining advanced, minimally invasive techniques with thoughtful, individualized care, Dr. Miranda strives to give his patients not only excellent treatment, but confidence in the path forward.

Personal Time

When he trades the operating room for some time off, Dr. Miranda still has a need for a little speed and adventure. He enjoys racing cars, riding motorcycles, snowboarding, and traveling—but some of his favorite time is simply spent with his wife. Whether he’s on the road, on the slopes, or exploring somewhere new, Dr. Miranda enjoys making the most of life outside of medicine
